January Recap

I have to say this is by far the most active January I've had like... ever!

I ran a marathon in 70 degree weather.
I ran a half marathon in 18 degree weather.

I think these photos are really funny next to each other:

February might be interesting. I have a qualifier in Brooklyn, so only a 20 minute train ride to QR #2. The personal life thing may take hold (we're definitely putting a bid on a new home and it's wedding season), but in all I'm going to get back out there and ramp it up for more.

So far I have registered for 4 more races:

Feb: Al Gordon Snowflake 4M (They renamed the December 4M to Ted Corbitt)
Mar: NYR 8000M
Mar: NYC Colon Cancer Challenge 15K (There was a 4M option but I want to push myself)
Apr: More/Fitness Magazine Half Marathon

That means 5 qualifiers down even before Spring. Yea, baby!

On a related note, there's this person in one of my circles who has been indirectly trying to compete with me, and I think it's really funny. Will tell you more next time.

LOVE the contrasting photos!

You're going to be a busy gal - I love it. I think having these races on your scheudle will even improve all of the personal life busy-ness.

Susan, I think so. Maybe the key with my own time management is to actually register for the races first and plan everything else around it.

Yes, quite different races!

And you've actually got more races on your schedule than I do. Good luck with them all!

Wow full schedule! That'll keep you motivated though and keep your mind off work / personal stress..
