I mapped out a 5k route today, but once again encountered a detour. That's the not-so-good thing about running in this part of Brooklyn. Not near any tracks, not near a park. Skipped out on half a mile by making one turn. I suppose it's okay. Better to save my feet from the pain of blisters today. I'll add it onto tomorrow. Gonna try to run three times before Sunday's 10 miler. (Is there such a thing as tapering for such a distance? hahaha!)
You know what's the best part of running for me? Feeling my knees all warmed up. That and ingesting some sweet and delicious fruit at the end! It's mango season! Yay!
