Yesterday I did a long run. About 40 degrees out and windy.
Route: Straight away to Prospect Park. The last half of the Brooklyn Marathon route. Figure I'd get that in there since I was crazy enough to sign up for it without proper training.
Miles: 10.25 (Not the entire course, of course.)
Those Gu Chocolate packs really help. The Mocha Cliff Shot was decent. It helps to zone into the trees. Chase the trees. I find that having mantras throughout the run really helps.
Today I feel sore, but I feel great!
This is a personal milestone to hit over 10 miles.
