Sorry about the lack of updates. I must admit, December is the worst time for me in terms of the amount of work I have. On top of this little stationery venture AND some freelancing on the side, I'm pretty tired by the time I get to bed. Not to mention I've been fighting a bug for the past week, and it pretty much took over these past couple of days.

I also feel guilty as it has been well over a month now since my last run. I signed up for several races after the marathon but I just haven't had the time and energy to make it. I felt bad because GP text messaged me AT one of the races we were supposed to do together. And I completely forgot about it!!!

What makes it interesting though, is that I have not made my requirements for a guaranteed entry for next year's marathon. Part of a conscious decision to make myself do it for charity. But I WILL run next year, and it will be for a good cause and not just for myself.

So that's really about it. I've been MIA and will probably lay low until January. Do I itch to run? Yes. But I'm waiting for some good sales so I can get a brand new pair of running shoes! (Lame excuse, I know!)

Hey Lisa, good to hear from you. I figured you were busy wrapping gifts or something with all your talents. Hope you have a great Xmas & New Years!

Post marathon blues! I obviously haven't had it, but everyone feels the same and takes some time off running- you have earned it after all!

Lisa! Good to hear from you! I, too, have been reticent to post. I am running but just have nothing to say I guess.

Logs - There are lots of freebees on the net (I use http://www.buckeyeoutdoors.com/).

I also wrote a quick Excel spreadsheet that includes what I am eating, date, miles run, calories consumed during the run (a svelt attractive young lady such as yourself may not need that), Time/pace, rating, and I keep overall totals for the sheet, as well.

That way between the 2, I know just how tired I should be!

Good luck and the only thing that you seem to be taking some time off from would be blogging!
